Lobbying Materials

One of the most effective ways of letting elected officials know your views on issues is through outreach. In political terms, this is called lobbying. Lobbying provides members of Congress, state, and local officials with the information they need to make the best decisions for their constituencies. Lobbying can be an extremely rewarding experience. The information and education you can provide may be critical to the decisions they make on policies that affect the trauma community.

To assist you in your lobbying efforts we have put together the following materials that you can use for a variety of lobbying activities, from writing or calling your Member of Congress to meeting with Congressional staff.
